at Odstock Road, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP2 8BJ with Baby Paddlers Swim School.

The Spinal Ward pool is a large hydrotherapy pool heated to 34°C so perfect for babies and small children.

For Baby Paddlers swimmers, but all are welcome.

Further information from Baby Paddlers about the pool and conditions of attendance:

Please note there are two pools at Salisbury Hospital, so please read the
information below and ensure you attend the lessons at The Spinal Pool (not
the Staff Club)

The Spinal Pool is located within SDH Central at the hospital.
Take entrance B from the main road, and follow it around to carpark 8. This
is on the right hand side, and the closest carpark to the entrance.
Opposite car park 8 is a walled pathway leading to Horatio’s Garden. In
this garden area is a set of double doors located before the Clarendon
Suite. Take this entrance in and the swimming pool entrance is on the first
right. All buggies/shoes need to be left outside this door.

*Changing Facilities*. There are 8 large changing rooms, and 2 showers
available to use. Baby changing mats are available upon request.

*Feeding your Baby*. We strongly recommend that you do not feed your baby
in the hour before your class starts. This is to reduce the chance of your
baby being sick in the water. Most babies and children need water/milk
after their classes so do ensure they have a drink afterwards. We do ask
that you do not feed them food in the changing areas at all.

*Pool Hygiene*. All babies & toddlers MUST wear our double nappy system: a
disposable paper swim nappy with a neoprene ‘Happy Nappy’ on top. This is
to ensure that any accidents do not have an impact on other pool users. The
exception to this rule is that successfully toilet trained pre-schoolers do
not need to wear a swim nappy. If you need to purchase an over nappy for
your child, please visit our friends at the *Baby Swimming Shop*
<https://www.babyswimmingshop.co.uk/> for a 10% discount for our customers.
Please use the code BBYPDL431 at the checkout.

*Illness*. You should not bring your child swimming if they have any
illness such as an ear infection, diarrhoea, chicken pox, impetigo,
conjunctivitis or a bad cold. In the instance of sickness / diarrhoea your
child must have been clear of all symptoms for at least 7 days before
entering the pool.
